As you know hypertension,ie. high blood pressure is a common lifestyle disease affecting the health of many people. Many assumptions are prevailed about it's exact cause and it's regulation and treatment. Everybody knows that consumption of salt is directly related to hypertension and diet control is the most effective way to control the disease. But there is no idea so far about the effects of various cooking oils in relation to hypertension. However a group of researches come up with a strong recommendation of usage of a particular oil for hyper tension patients and that is"sesame oil". Through the research they have proved that the oil not only lowers the B.P. levels but also helps to reduce the quantity of medicines used to lower hypertension.
The researchers proved that poly unsaturated fatty acids when mix with sesamin a compound found in sesame oil effectively reduces hypertension.Sesame fibers included in sesame oil can reduce absorption of cholesterol.Sesame oil contain poly unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E. Moreover Ayurveda suggests the use of sesame oil for maintaining a good health condition.
